Tillie's Safe Haven(“we”) keeps this simple. We only collect the information you choose to give us, and we use it only to respond to you and to build our sanctuary.
What we collect
When you submit a form on this site (contact, get-involved, or newsletter), we receive the details you enter, such as your name, email, phone number, and message. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
How we use it
To reply to your message, coordinate volunteering or fostering, send occasional updates you’ve asked for, and keep records of people who want to help. That’s it.
Cookies & tracking
We don’t run advertising cookies or analytics ourselves, and we never sell your data. Our homepage embeds a live feed of our Facebook page; when it loads, Facebook may set its own cookies under Facebook’s privacy policy. If we ever add analytics of our own, we’ll update this policy first.
Email updates
If you join our list, we’ll email you occasional news about the sanctuary. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can ask us to remove you at any time.
Third parties
Donations are handled by GoFundMe under their own privacy policy. Our forms may be processed by a form-handling service on our behalf. We share your information only as needed to operate these tools.
Children’s privacy
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
How long we keep it
We keep the information you share only as long as we need it to respond to you and operate the rescue, and we delete it on request.
Your choices & rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you’ve shared, and you can unsubscribe from emails at any time. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws have the same rights. Just email us and we’ll take care of it. We will never sell your personal information.
